This isn’t any ‘ordinary’ graduate program, and we aren’t looking for ‘ordinary’ graduates. The Synlait Future Leaders program is about creating the executives of the future - those super ambitious graduates who want to be at the forefront of a leading NZ company. For the lucky few who are selected, your development will be carefully planned to provide the right foundational development and experiences, and the senior team will monitor your progress all the way.
Purpose: The Synlait Future Leaders program is totally focused on building a pipeline of future leaders for our fast-growing company.
Definition: Future Leaders program is a 3 year program, which rotates you through a variety of key roles to provide a solid foundation for your future. You will receive world-class Leadership training before it ends with you being placed into your first leadership role. From there the Synlait Talent review process, led by the senior team, monitors your progress and continues with accelerated development for the high performers.
Who we are looking for: Final year students (or those who have graduated in the past 2 years) who want to be at the top of a leading NZ company. It’s likely that you will come from a Science, Engineering or Technology discipline, however we recognise the value of diversity, so feel free to apply if you think this is for you but your qualification if from a different discipline.
Synlait has great ambitions, and clear goals for the future – and you will too. Analytical, critical thinker, adaptable, creative are some of the words you might use to describe yourself –perhaps summarised as someone who thinks outside the square and always wants better.
You won't need us to hold your hand, nor will you want us to. You will be flexible and mobile – given our growth you can expect to move around as part of your development.
Obviously you want to be a senior leader (and we mean REALLY want it). As well as having great academic results in your discipline, you have probably can’t help yourself and will have been involved in (or led) student groups or voluntary roles, or have already started your working life in some way, or even a business.
